Dr. Paul Vaccarella OD

Dr Vaccarella received his Bachelor's degree in Biology from King's College in Pennsylvania and his doctorate in 1991 from the New England College of Optometry in Boston where he graduated with clinical honors.
For 15 Years Dr Vaccarella worked with the New Jersey State Commission for the Blind and Visually Impaired, Project Prevention doing vision screenings in facilities that were dedicated to meeting the needs of handicapped children and adults as well as community outreach programs.
Dr V founded the practice 28 years ago. He was determined to offer state of the art professional eye care in a covenient patient location. He administrates the practice and also sees patients in the Bridgewater location.
He enjoys mentoring other doctors and also spends time lecturing and doing peer-to-peer educational programs. He is married and the proud father of 2 daughters.

Dr. Fayaz Vizam OD
Dr. Vizam earned his Bachelor’s degree in Public Health from Rutgers University–New Brunswick before obtaining his Doctor of Optometry degree, cum laude, from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry. He is board-certified by the National Board of Examiners in Optometry and received clinical honors in all of his rotations. During his training, he worked alongside both optometrists and ophthalmologists, gaining extensive experience in managing a wide range of ocular diseases and neuro-ophthalmic conditions.Dedicated to staying at the forefront of optometric care, Dr. Vizam is well-versed in the latest ocular therapies and advanced treatment technologies. He specializes in fitting pediatric patients with specialty contact lenses such as MiSight, which helps control myopia progression—an essential intervention to reduce the risk of vision-threatening conditions later in life. Additionally, he has a strong interest in dry eye management and utilizes innovative therapies, including LipiFlow, to provide effective relief for patients suffering from dry eye symptoms.Dr. Vizam is an active member of the American Optometric Association and the New Jersey Society of Optometric Physicians.Outside of his professional commitments, he enjoys traveling, exploring new culinary recipes, singing, and spending quality time with family and friends.

Dr. Geri Baptiste OD
Dr. Baptiste (Bauer) earned a B.S. in Biology from Fordham University summa cum laude and a Doctorate from the State University of New York College of Optometry with clinical honors in Low Vision.
Before joining the Bridgewater team, Dr. B provided full scope optometry and specialty contact lens fitting in private practice for more than two decades, while co-managing patients as a consultant for the TLC Laser Eye Centers.
She is proud to have participated in countless community outreach health fairs/vision screenings (pre-school to geriatric) and to continue to advocate for sun & sports protective eyewear as well as nutrition for healthy eyes. She practices in our Bridgewater location.
Dr Lewam Mebrahtu OD
Dr. Lewam Mebrahtu earned her Doctor of Optometry degree from SUNY College of Optometry where she graduated with honors, including initiation into the prestigious Beta Sigma Kappa Honor Society. Prior to attending SUNY, Dr. Mebrahtu graduated from George Mason University with a B.S. in Neuroscience -Magna Cum Laude distinction.
Dr. Mebrahtu excels in providing thorough, patient centered eye care, and is highly trained in the fitting of speciality contact lenses (i.e. ortho-K, scleras, and MiSight); the management of corneal pathologies (i.e. Keratoconus, Corneal Ulcers and Dry Eye Disease); and the management of advanced posterior segment diseases (i.e. Glaucoma, Diabetic Retinopathy, ARMD, and Optic Neuropathies).
In addition to managing ocular diseases, Dr. Mebrahtu loves helping her patients experience the magic of seeing clearly!
Outside of the clinic, Dr. Mebrahtu is passionate about serving her community through conducting vision screenings, and mentoring the next generation of optometrists.
Dr. Mebrahtu is a member of the American Optometry Association. She is board certified by the National Board Examiners of Optometry and is licensed by the New Jersey State Board of Optometrists and the Virginia Board of Optometry. She is fluent in English, Amharic, Tigrinya, and is working on her Spanish.
In her free time, Dr. Mebrahtu enjoys long distance running, interior design, and exploring cultures through cuisine.

Dr. Judy Aboushaar OD
Dr. Judy Aboushaar is an optometric physician, board certified in the treatment and management of ocular diseases. She graduated magna cum laude from Rutgers University with a degree in biology and a minor in chemistry. She received her doctorate degree from the State University of New York, College of Optometry.
Her clinical training includes a vast emphasis on ocular disease at the Veterans Affairs Hospital in Lyons, NJ. She had a rigorous specialty contact lens internship at SUNY Optometry in the heart of Manhattan! She additionally had intensive rotations in dry eye management, cataracts pre-op and post-op management, myopia management and oculomotor/binocular vision therapy at the University Eye Center, NY. She was recognized with honors at her clinical rotations.
Dr. Aboushaar is passionate about delivering personalized, up-to-date comprehensive eye care with a strong emphasis on preventative care and thorough patient education. She firmly believes that her patients shouldn’t have to compromise when it comes to their visual needs and enjoys crafting personalized prescriptions. She is fluent in both English and Arabic. Her hobbies include reading, photography, discovering new cafes and music!

Dr. Robert Meade OD
Dr. Robert F. Meade has been practicing full time in the Rockaway, NJ office for 27 years. He is a graduate of The Richard Stockton College of New Jersey where he earned a B.S. in Biology with a concentration in Microbiology.
Dr. Meade received his Doctor of Optometry degree from the State University of New York College of Optometry in 1991, graduating with clinical honors.
He is a past adjunct professor at Essex County College, where he taught courses in the vision care technology program. Currently, he teaches vision science at Montclair State University to seniors and graduate students in the biology program. Dr. Meade is a vision consultant performing presentations to local businesses on computer vision stress, and teacher in-service groups on vision and learning. He practices in the Rockaway location.

Dr. Nanna Lee OD
Dr. Nanna K. Lee graduated cum laude from SUNY Binghamton where she studied biochemistry and psychology. She received her Doctor of Optometry Degree from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry at Salus University in 2009 with clinical honors at Yukon-Kuskokwim Health Corporation in Bethel, Alaska. She is currently licensed to practice optometry in the states of New York and New Jersey. She provides comprehensive and quality patient care, including contact lens fitting, and treatment and management of ocular diseases. She is an active member of the American Optometric Association and the New Jersey Society of Optometric Physicians. She has interest in providing eye care to underserved communities and has partnered with Healthcare Ministries in the past. She practices in the Bridgewater location. She is fluent in Cantonese and English.

Dr. Robert Harmon OD
Dr Robert Harmon has been a part time in our practice for over 15 years. Dr. Harmon provides comprehensive and quality patient care including contact lens fittings, treatment and management of ocular disease. You can find Dr. Harmon at both our Bridgewater and Rockaway office.

Dr. Josianne Manasse OD
Dr. Josianne Manasse has been practicing full time with Family EyeCare Services for over 18 years. A Rutgers alumni, Dr. Manasse received her Doctor of Optometry from the New England College of Optometry, Boston with honors.
She continued her postgraduate training in ocular disease at Omni Eye Services(NJ) and Braverman Eye Center (FL). She is an active member of the AOA and is a staff optometrist at the Bridgewater location.
